Respara — digital Emergency Action Plans for athletics programs

NATA-guideline based planning

Respara combines response and preparation — the whole job of an Emergency Action Plan: think it through on a quiet Tuesday, write it down, and post it where it will be found, so nobody has to work it out with an athlete on the ground.

Create, maintain, and share venue-specific Emergency Action Plans for schools, youth sports organizations, clubs and parks departments: personnel roles, equipment, campus maps, hospital routing, and printable signage, all in one place.

A written plan for every venue is required of school athletics in a growing number of states, and expected of everyone else. This keeps yours current, posted, and documented: guided rehearsals that log who attended, dated approvals, AED checks with initials.

No sign-up needed to look around the demo.

New

Already have a plan? Start from it.

Upload the plan you have now, whatever shape it is in: a PDF, a Word document saved years ago, a scan of a binder page. It gets read into a draft with venues, personnel, hospitals, AED locations, and emergency numbers already filled in, so you start from your own plan instead of a blank page.

Then you check it. Every field is shown next to the sentence it came from, you accept venues one at a time, and it tells you what is missing rather than guessing: no coordinates in the document means no coordinates in the plan. What you end up with is the plan you already had, more complete and in a format you can post.

Rehearsal Mode

Rehearse the plan, not just the paperwork

Pick a venue and a sport and Rehearsal Mode walks your staff through three scenarios built from that venue's own plan: the gate EMS uses, where the AED actually is, which hospital and how far. One practice, one game.

  • Does not apply swaps out a scenario that doesn't fit your venue for another.
  • Roles & assignments shows who holds each emergency role without leaving the walkthrough, and flags any role nobody holds.
  • Check off who attended and each coach's rehearsal record is dated for you, beside their CPR expiration.
